I'm very excited about the direction I'm going in this series. When I began experimenting with cradle boards I quickly realized their potential for building layers of paint to create depth and intensity, as the natural texture of the wood brings out such wonderously beautiful pockets of saturation. I am fascinated with the lush greens, so prevalent on the West Coast.
